Enjoy a piece of history with this beautiful pastel purple peeling paint chip tray.

Collected lovingly from a decaying nurses building in the woods on an abandoned island that used to help heal the less fortunate. This island inspired Dennis Lehane's 2003 book Shutter Island, which later became the inspiration for Martin Scorsese's 2010 film, Shutter Island.

The room I collected these from has a tattered tufted chair, vines crawling through the window and a light fixture still intact. I love the feeling when I'm in that room and I wanted to bring pieces of it back to share with you.

This tray would be perfect to hold your HRSH paint chip barrettes!
